KBCS Sunday School is a Children’s Ministry that serves a vibrant community of children aged 3 to 17, supported by church members who graciously volunteered as teachers.
We gather weekly for Combined Service Worship and Sunday School classes where we endeavour to reinforce the Bible lessons and biblical principles they have learnt from their parents and immediate family. We are the auxiliary support system for parents in training up children in the Word of the Lord, albeit in a community setting. As the children gather in small groups, they learn the truth and love of Jesus Christ with their peers and they get the opportunity to put into practice the classroom lessons, on their lifelong journey of spiritual formation.
We nurture the next generation with a solid biblical foundation to develop their faith and make it their very own instead of borrowed faith from their parents. Through weekly worship and lessons, they develop important spiritual habits such as worship, Scripture memory, attentive listening to God’s Word, and applying biblical truths in their daily lives.
The church community is also strengthened by creating a safe and joyful space where children are allowed to form meaningful friendships while learning together and receiving a sense of belonging in the church family. The teachers’ faithful service commitment model for the children a life of discipleship and Christ-like love which testifies to the truth of the lessons they learn—building a culture of loving fellowship and mentorship within the church.

Activities
We have Sunday outings during March and September holidays. The annual Sunday School camp is held during the December holidays with instructors from Thailand and Burma so that they keep in touch with their roots and learn their mother tongue while learning about how God has called the Karen people to accept Him as their personal Savious.
