Saw San Lya Hla served as the Chairperson of the Youth Fellowship in 2008. He was a leader who built strong relationships and unity among the youth, encouraging and strengthening them both spiritually and personally. He was also known as someone who was active, creative, and passionate in his service.

He not only had strong faith, but also continually encouraged the youth to grow in their faith and character. As a good leader, he guided and walked alongside them, setting an example in their journey. He organized regular fellowship visits from house to house, including times of sharing and prayer, especially after youth fellowship gatherings. When encouraging the youth, he did not act as someone above them, but instead humbled himself, connected with them, and worked together to find solutions—this is why he was deeply loved by many.

Currently, he lives in Canada with his wife, Naw Moo Say Meh, and their two daughters, Naw Eh Nar Thway Thi Meh and Naw Le Ran San Htoo Meh. He works at Vopak Terminals of Canada, Hamilton Terminals as a Maintenance Manager.
