Youth Leader (2012 – 2015)
Naw Mura Dun served as the Chairperson of the Youth Fellowship from 2012 to 2015. She is someone who deeply loves her people and values Karen literature and culture. During her leadership, she actively encouraged and guided the youth to appreciate and engage in Karen language, traditions, and cultural activities.
As a gifted individual in music and relationship-building, she not only fostered strong connections within the Karen Baptist Christian community but also built meaningful relationships with other Karen organizations, churches, and various Myanmar ethnic groups living in Singapore. She led the youth to participate in important events such as Karen New Year celebrations, cultural festivals, and the Myanmar Nationalities Friendship Cup Singapore, helping them develop unity, confidence, and new perspectives.
Throughout her term, she organized many impactful programs including music activities, fellowship gatherings, and outreach events. She also played a key role in arranging a joint youth camp in Port Dickson, Malaysia, in collaboration with the Malaysia Karen Baptist Christian Fellowship. At the end of her leadership, she expressed her gratitude and honored 25 youth leaders who served alongside her, leaving a meaningful legacy for the next generation. Currently, she lives in Singapore and works as an Accountant. Her husband is Saw Wah Say, and her Facebook account name is Myrrh Mura.
